In my experience, the GPs and nurses here have been absolutely great. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. HOWEVER - the receptionist staff are awful, to the point of me dreading to contact the surgery. They are rude to the point of almost rolling their eyes at you and they always look and sound like they wish you weren't there, regardless of your reason for being there is. They also lost my referral to the eye hospital, delaying my surgery with over a year. I once had a GP confirm to me that the receptionists are a problem. It's a shame as if it wasn't for them, I would be 100% happy with this surgery.

This is a wonderful NHS practice. GPs are top quality. They are sensitive and take time to give excellent diagnoses. I have had a post-operative infection fast diagnosed and the speed of the GPs reaction saved me huge problems.Their nurse is also excellent and she too picked up areas that I would have missed. I have nothing but praise for this practice and have widely recommended it to friends and colleagues.

The receptionists are really unpleasant to deal with and it's hard to get an appointment. The nurse is great and most of the doctors have been decent but it's hard to view them favourably when the first people I have to speak to are always hostile.

The receptionist is extremely rude and they pretend to know everything. They have no empathy whatsoever and its so slow that when you actually manage to get an appointment, you are almost cured.

After years of mediocre services, I'm shocked about the high quality service I've recently received. Dr. Raj Gill has been phenomenal, taking the time to examine me properly, listening to everything I had to say and referring me for the required tests with amazing efficiency. At a time the NHS is pressed the most, I've had some of the best care I've ever received at the surgery.

I am writing to complain about the poor service provided by Bloomsbury Surgery on the 20th December 2021. A couple days before that I visited the UCLH A&E Department to look at my hand which had been bothering me for three months. The doctor told me to book a consultation with my GP to further test if I potentially had carpal tunnel syndrome. I gave Bloomsbury Surgery a call at 8:30 in the morning to book an appointment, and I was told to use the online service to book the appointment. I tried booking an appointment online multiple times, but the automatic system kept on referring me to numbers that I needed to call and also did not provide any useful information. I tried calling Bloomsbury Surgery again, but to my disappointment the staff there were very rude and dismissive of my concerns. After trying to communicate my problems for a long period of time, the receptionist I was talking to eventually hung up the phone on me. I then visited Bloomsbury Surgery to try and sort out the misunderstanding and to explain to them what the A&E doctor had told me. A tall, white man by the surname of Smith met me and told me I wasn’t allowed in. He then lied to me, saying that he was a doctor and that he had personally responded to my online referrals. He was rude and disdainful to the whole situation, and left me more confused and frustrated, especially as I knew he was lying about replying to my online referral forms. Overall, the staff at Bloomsbury Surgery were rude and unhelpful in helping me book an appointment.

Don’t go there. Registration takes forever. Called them several times and they keep telling me to call back in a few days. Very slow. Can’t even imagine if I get sick and they still haven’t processed me….

I've walked in for my second dose of Pfizer vaccine. Everybody was wonderfully helpful, kind and competent. I was expecting a huge queue or a waiting list but they've let me through swiftly and smoothly. I couldn't recommend it more!

Not happy at all. I'm a new patient, got ill and asked for a sick note. They sent a text message to a completely different number from the number I gave them. When I phoned to clarify what happened to the sicknote I requested a receptionist was very evasive, refused to look into it, told me that she had many patients waiting on the line and hung up on me because I spoke English with a foreigner accent. I'm wondering if she would have the same attitude if I were born here. Next time I will record the phone call. Tuesday, 26/11/21 9:21am
