This is a really lovely bookshop, but unfortunately our experience was dampened when the staff member working that day was rude to us. We had only been looking around for a few minutes and he asked us if we needed any help, to which we replied no thank you. He then said something along the lines of OK well there are people waiting outside. I get that it's hard with Covid as only so many people can be in the shop at one time but we hadn't been in there long and obviously you have to take some time to browse the shelves in a bookshop, especially when there are as many books as there are in their shop! He also commented on me taking photos which I had intended to use to promote the shop on my popular Bookstagram account. Sadly a negative experience overall and I don't think I'll be going back.

5/ 5

Brilliant 2nd hand bookshop in a great location, we always find something to take home from Bloom & Curl. A classic cosy bookshop feel when you stumble in form the cold (or the heat!) with a little bench outside if you want to sit and read your new purchases. Close to Ahh toots to grab a quick coffee too. Lots of Sci Fi and really knowledgable owners.
