Blackhall Library edinburgh

Love this library, it has parking space despite there are not much in the area, it is the best place to visit for indoor. Library is in a square shape, it has a courtyard in the middle, when a nice summer warm day, it is perfect to have lunch out and spend nearly all day in this library with WiFi. Quiet enough. Books range is good enough!

Amazing wonderful place. Stuck in time by design which is part of its charm with a wonderful open space. The staff are 5* helpful and patient. The children's area is so accommodating. I highly recommend this library and so very fond of it. I have been going for years.

Over the years different librarians have really welcomed my kids to Blackhall library and encouraged them to read, helping them to find and reserve books, and giving them suggestions. It's interesting to read some reviewers complaining about 'noisy staff' and 'noisy children'... I'm giving the other side of the story! This library is invaluable to my family.

It is a place where you can find warmly and helpful staff, I recommend to visit and work with, there is a nice atmosphere to read. One think is negative that is sometime the staff speak with visitors loudly.

This is a good, well-stocked library. While the architecture may not be as inspiring as some other Edinburgh libraries, it's bigger than you think it's going to be, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There's plenty of space to sit and read.
