Always bright, warm and welcoming with plenty of activities for all ages. Good selection of books and audiobooks as well as wifi (with a library card) and computers. The quiet corner is at the far end. The children's seats are at the front. Experienced staff to help and can also help with council matters.

Useless! I walked to the library with the intention of collecting my new library card. When I got there (during normal opening times) the door was wide open. There were no signs to say the place was closed. So, I went straight in. I was greated by a Lady Jobsworth saying they were actually closed for refurbishment. The staff were present and seemed to be working as normal. But no, she couldn't help me with my library card!
