Amazing little hidden gem of history and heritage!
Very historically interesting place, there isn't a lot to see and no interpretation really as to what you are looking at. I do hope that they can secure some funding to make the bath house into a little museum or something similar.
Lovely and tranquil round the pond, it's a shame that Sheffield city council don't care about it and look after it and invest money into refurbishing the bath house to its former glory instead of trying to sneakily sell it off! Its left to a handful if dedicated volunteers to do what they can to look after it and fight the council to stop them.selling off this wonderfull peace of heritage.
Really interesting historically. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Wear boots though because slippy in places.
I used to take my boys when they were younger, now they're grown up I take my granddaughter. We love the building and the history, the surroundings, the events, everything. I do think SCC should invest in security cameras, anticlimb paint and on the building itself. The building would be great being used as a cafe or events space.
Brilliant I have been watching the wildlife, squirrels, Robin's, moorhens and their chicks, an hoovering kestrel hunting for it's dinner plus a few other species
Such a lovely place. Oasis of Peace
South Yorkshires only spring fed Victorian Bath House in beautiful grounds. What's not to love? That said, Sheffield council want to dispose of it, this unique, wonderful building has the potential to be a green community hub for mental health and well-being, nature and biodiversity, worth saving, in my opinion.
