had an absolutely class time, got me into university and made loads of friends, amazing supportive staff, college made a big effort to reduce exam stress stress only, issue is no study leave for exams!!

Completely unhelpful when it matters most. Staff don't care to be supportive. My and my brother have both experienced this. Even after a gap of two to three years after it happened to me it only got worse for my brother. They are not doing what they are supposed to do and often boast their success when the truth is that they are awful. Ofsted needs to come in again and update their review. It is inaccurate.

A really lovely college, so supportive, caring and friendly. The teachers, personal tutors and learning support team always provide the best support and teaching. They are always there to help whenever you need them. The college itself has a really lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. I enjoyed every minute of my time at The Sixth Form College and I achieved so much.

As a student here I find the college to be very warm and welcoming, with the staff always being happy to help. The student support here is great and there's a quiet room for those who need it. Hoping to leave this year with a Dist* in Law

why take music off of the A Level options

Don’t let the song and dance of the college advertising trick you into thinking it’s the best college on the Wirral! They only care about grades and focus on the students they know will do the best. I wouldn’t recommend going there at all, many teaching staff need to be replaced with more supportive and genuine people. Don’t get me wrong, I can name quite a few teachers and tutors at the college that were amazing. This is just a warning to people who are thinking about going, I’d urge you to do research about the college first and make up your own mind, don’t feel pressured by any open evenings you may attend. This was just written as a warning to anyone thinking of applying there, from a student who was there from 2018 and to the start of the pandemic. As early as March the college stopped communicating with students properly and it felt they just washed us out for the new first years in September. To conclude, be careful and think smartly!
