The young staff are happy chatting away. No awareness of customers at all. Eventually the youngest really nice one served us. If you have 3 hrs to sit&wait for a coffee and a high tea fine. Otherwise wait until the staff are trained to know customers are king, without them there is no jobs& no hotel. Nice staff but need serious training. They need to be aware and also need to give tissues , clean tables when we went in there was 6 dirty table in the conservatory

We stayed here for a hen night and nearly all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. In particular, Paul and Veronica went above and beyond for our needs and we were very happy with their service. Unfortunately there was one member of staff called Robert (General Manager) who was not so pleasant. Such a shame as everything else was perfect and Roberts grumpy and aggressive way of talking to customers is very off putting for booking a return visit.

This hotel is rated as a 4 star but wouldn’t give more than 2 stars. There was no air conditioning, rooms where hot and stuffy. Hotel is run down; service is slow. The spa facilities were broken as jacuzzi was not open plus they were fixing a metal rail into the pool with electrical equipment whilst telling us it’s “safe to swim” when in reality it’s not. They wouldn’t give us - guests staying at the hotel - robe and slippers as those items were for day visitors which baffles me. Any other hotel I have stayed at, offering robe, towels etc is complimentary. It was unpleasant stay and I would not be returning!
