Bert’s Homestore brighton

Love this store , first time I walked into the George Street branch and I usually do I said morning to the staff working there who looked at me and carried on talking to each other. The store was empty I kept on browsing and then left with them still chatting and ignoring people walking in. So rude.

It's a lovely shop. Not cheap but had very nice kitchen bits and often various toys for children. I always enjoy going in.

The third, and by no means least, of this excellent group. Full of wondrous things, and again, very friendly staff. Easy access.

Full of useful (and some not so useful but fun) cooker bits and pieces. Staff are very helpful too

Gorgeous little homeware emporium. Has everything you need and more. It’s my go-to place whenever I need anything. Scented soaps, hand creams, utensils, crockery, things for kids, dogs, humans, home. You name it, it’s usually got it and it will be pretty as well as useful at the same time. Always a pleasure to see the lovely, talented Bridget, whose knowledge of stock is legendary AND what a smile 😃 May the store be with you 😍

A+++ Here you will find lots of housewares, kitchen, kids items BUT unique and unseen anywhere else. Even the cards for birthday, anniversary, or just because and why not are very unique. You must check it at and take your time. Oh, wheelchair accessible BTW. Gilles XXG

Lovely homeware emporium. Prices are pretty reasonable. Why Bert’s has never expanded its empire beyond Brighton is a mystery to me but surely it’s only a matter of time before new branches pop up elsewhere.

Always a joy to have a look around Berts when on George Street. A good range of unique, useful and fun home items. A go to place for gifts. I particularly love their range of cups - china and reusable, books for kids and cards. At this time of year I can't wait to see their Christmas decorations, which are lovely.
