Original 1830s Edinburgh pub. Wonderful panelling and stained glass. Good, well kept ale selection too. Right next to the Kings Theatre and loads of bus routes through Tollcross. A lovely place to meet friends or read a book.

Is everyone who wrote here missing the greatness of this place?. Old Man's pub??? What about one of the greatest single malt whiskey bars on the planet! Floor to ceiling, the length of the entire bar are more singles than any man could sample in a year. In my student days, they served Belhaven, now mostly Caledonian beersl Last year, I met a guy in California who asked me if I had ever been there. An institution!
