This was quite honestly one of the best meals I have had in along time. Service was quick and the cocktails were great. They catered to my allergens and staff were very friendly. We had a really excellent experience here

Had to wait 30 minutes for a table for 5 but were just looked around the gallery then went back. The service was impeccable, they put a ramp out for my friend's wheelchair, waiter was fabulous, noticed they were lovely with other customers too. It was either unusually busy or they regularly have a busy restaurant. For 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a child for mains, desserts and drinks it came to £100 but if you're with the AA you can save 25% Everyone enjoyed their food and they happily gave us a box for one of the boys to take the rest of his meal home.

Lovely experience My sister and I have just been in Edinburgh for a weekend stay. We were shopping one day and suddenly we were very hungry. We didn't exactly know where to go to eat, but across the street we saw a restaurant named Bella Italia, so we went there. There were a lot of people at the restaurant, but luckily we got a table straight away. The waiter was very friendly and the service was great. We loved the food. I will recommend Bella Italia to everyone I know.

One of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten. The dough had hardly any salt or other taste. You hardly had to look for tomato sauce and cheese. Had ordered with olives. There were exactly 5 olives and 3.5 slices of Parma ham. The pasta may be better, but I won't try that anymore. The service was commendable and it was great.

Some of the best meatballs I’ve ever had! Great service and value for money (we had a groupon for 2 people which includes 3 courses for only £22) with ample gluten free alternatives. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Really nice food. We got the lunch offer which is pricey compared to other places lunch offers but its at the heart of the tourist area just off Princes Street so you pay for the location. Staff were great & nice decor inside giving the Italian feel.

Mushroom starter was nice, a little too watery for my pleasing though, spaghetti bolognaise was delicious however there was barely any meat to go with it. Beware of ordering drinks as they can be pricey. Other than that I would probably go again.

The entire menu, the combination, the service, just absolutely amazing! For about 6 years I've been visiting the restaurants from Edinburgh and Inverness and the food is just out of this world. Anyone who loves Italian food, Bella Italia is the place for you!
