Fascinating folly built for one man to sit, think and look at the view. 166 steps and he was 66 when it was built so must have had good knees. With an old graveyard at it's foot the tower is a really great place to visit and explore. The guides are lovely and knowledgeable and the mini exhibit is interesting. A fortune built on sugar and slavery, a sexual scandal and the grand tour - what's not to like?

Not very interesting and not very good views. A meseum about a family that are not very interesting. Long walk up hill from Bath, pay more than £4, then up the stairs, views not great, down again, then boring meseum. The volunteer there was very good and did spend a decent amount of time telling the stories which was somewhat interesting.

Not got there yet, but from a distance looks like a place to visit soon. (I got held up on Monday 31st when I did to visit. So enjoy if go before me!!). Visited now and worth a visit enjoy if you are in Bath (it's two miles from Town Centre busy road). Good views from the tower, and also from the cemetery over Bath, which is part of the Tower. Parking is limited. Note it was reported that the national lottery is going to invest in improving and maintaining the old tower and museum. Will definitely be a visitor's attraction especially in the summer. Updated 05/01/2020.

I can only recommend visiting. It‘s close to Bath and you‘ve got a great view from the top. There is a little museum as well with very nice staff. They gave me a little tour of the museum and answered my questions. The graveyard outside is great as well
