What a huge disappointment. Do not think of this as a spa/salon, it is the complete opposite. It is dirty beyond compare. There was thick black mold around the shower head so much so the water did not come out properly. The floors needed hoovering and washing as they looked like they hadn't been done in a while. The room in which you have the massage was a mess and looked like a converted office. The towel/blanket they covered you in looked really grubby. I won't even describe the hole in which you put your face! The flotation tank is like nothing I have ever seen before. It was literally in with the toilet. There wasn't enough salt in there for my partner to float so he just laid on the floor. (The member of staff said it was because if she put any more salt in it would be too hard to clean) Well it's not a flotation tank then is it? The toilet and shower room was really dirty and the plasterboard at the bottom of the wall was coming off. There is nowhere to keep your bags so you end up carrying them from room to room. To get to the "salon" you get walked through the car park! The person that I can only assume was the manager was having a bit of a firm word with a workman as I was coming out from the treatments which, as a guest I did not need or want to hear. Overall I think it was over priced for a very dirty place. I would really not recommend. Please do not waste your money, it really isn't worth it. They gave us vouchers for money off of our next visit but I just threw them away because I didn't care how much money off I got there is no way I am every going back. Please avoid.

Always a lovely relaxing Facial, Lauren is always helpful and is very informative about the products and treatments available at the spa/salon. I am on the monthly 2 for 25 deal and to get a massage or Declour facial for under 30 pounds a month is a steal as others in the area are always over 30 + pounds. The facilities as a whole are calming and relaxing, the hotel being in a central location is an added bonus and the car park is free. I always look foward to my monthly facial and sometimes have additional treatments as being on the monthly deal I get a discount.

i went in to make a booking... which i then paid for and was really looking forward to having a body wrap and a facial. I booked for a Thursday afternoon as I has a special occasion to go to on the Saturday... ON the Monday I received a voicemail on my phone to contact the salon as soon as possible.. I rang in my lunch hour and was told my appointment had been canceled due to double booking!!! I was so upset, i was told that they had an appointment that night otherwise there was nothing they could do.. i told them that i couldn't do that night.. and was told the beauty therapist would ring me back later ... she never did!! I was so upset... i thought by booking and paying that i and they entered into a contract and they should have stuck by it. i then had to search around to try and get booked in somewhere that same week... nearly impossible. Then to add insult to injury i get an email from them saying that they look forward to meeting me and if i dont make it they will still charge me!! i rang them up and apparently the email was sent by mistake!! wish i could rate less than one star!!!
