V friendly team. I have had to bring my baby to every appointment and they went above and beyond to make sure it’s stress free for me ( Jade has walked her in her pram for me when crying whilst I was getting braces off). Nicola fitted my braces and makes you feel very comfortable and nerve free.

I usually loathe going to the dentist but I always look forward to visiting Beau Monde. The staff are incredibly polite, welcoming and courteous. The practice is modern yet funky, a welcome change from the stuffy, claustrophobic waiting rooms I am used to. Nicola and Catherine really know their stuff and are always willing and eager to explain the best course of action. All in all, a superb addition to North View, I wish them every success for the future!

I have been seeing Dr White for nearly 11 years now. I introduced several nervous friends to her and they are now no longer terrified of going to the Dentist - and have gone on to have cosmetic treatment as well with her! Very happy to follow her to her new premises and happy to recommend both Dr Spalding and Dr White to anyone. Good luck with your new venture, I know it will be a success.

Beau Monde is a warm and welcoming practice. Brand new and fully refurbished to provide a modern, yet comfortable setting, the atmosphere is not what you might expect of a dental practice. The two female dentists Dr Nicola White and Dr Catherine Spalding, who have set the business up together, are extremely re-assuring and very good with nervous patients. They provide a good all round family service, with children treated for free when parents are registered, however, they also offer cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. I would highly recommend Beau Monde to anyone seeking a new dentist where they would like the experience to be an unexpected pleasure!

I've been an employee at Beau Monde for nearly 2 years and am now leaving to progress my career. It is a lovely practice to work at. The receptionist, nurses, and dentists are all very friendly and made an effort to make me feel welcome immediately. It is refreshing that the focus at Beau Monde is on patient care rather than numbers and money, and this is reflected in the loyalty patients have to the dentists and practice, as many have been coming here for years. I would highly recommend the practice as an employee or joining as a patient, as you really do feel you are joining a family and will be looked after from start to finish.

I have wanted to leave this review for a while but have delayed it out of fear of being refused a reference. I was not a patient at the practice but an employee and I would not recommend working here. Before I start, I would like to say that working with dentists Sandra and Rachel was the highlight of my time at the practice. Both were lovely and professional at all times. I think this practice seems wonderful if you are visiting as a patient and especially if you are a friend of the owner but behind the scenes I saw a different story. My first recollection of working with the main dentist, Nicola, is of her discussing music at a party her daughter had saying she was repeating the n word and I recall her saying "If they can say it why can't I". Not only this incident but on another occasion, I had asked if she was able to fill in a patients insurance form and she replied, saying something along the lines of "Chinese people" being tight with money (I don’t even think she was sure of the patients ethnic background). One of the other nurses had also asked me if referring to me as "half-cast" was appropriate. I think the fact this was even a question is concerning. I had returned to work one day from sickness, to see that one of the nurses had disclosed mental health problems I was having via email when trying to find a cover nurse. I found this uncomfortable and awkward, especially as I thought we would all be familiar with confidentiality due to the nature of the job. Appointments would often run quite late, as Nicola would spend the time having conversations with patients she knew personally and her personal life seemed to become an obstacle for the workplace. I also do not remember ever be on time, sometimes waiting up to 2 days after the date stated in my contract! When I finally did hand in my resignation, I felt even more awkward especially as I didn’t feel comfortable discussing the above issues with any of my colleagues.
