Went for an opening day, great student support and it's a nice university, but I really didn't like the location. Long walk through side roads to the uni, passing many bars and pubs, very deprived area. I witnessed a daylight moped robbery, guy on a moped snatching the mobile off a pedestrian's hand, that was pretty scary, so I'm not sure about safety outside the university though. Approximately 20 to 30 minutes walk to the nearest tube, on our way back the tube was closed so we had to walk twice the distance to the next tube station. Personally, I wouldn't enrol my daughter there, because I feel the area surrounding the university is not safe.

nice supportive diverse community in east london some of the lectures are not that great teachers run out of time and rush things but overall there are good lectures and courses a lot of teachers would like to help students achieve but you have to ask them for help if you need it good proximity to central london but i have my own worries about the area it is not that great or safe come to whitechapel and take a look or go to the open day before making a university choice
