Did a wedding here in their private room.. Staff are very good. Lovely and helpful. Venue is set up over 3 floors don't their is a lift. The in house food for the wedding was buffee and very tasty. Access is a nightmare so check in advance. Roads are shut at set times and very limited parking.

We go out for breakfast / brunch nearly every weekend, sometimes bringing friends / family along. Today boyfriend and I decided to try a new place and that's why we ended up at the Baroosh this morning. The place was empty at that point and there was three staff behind the bar. We were welcomed to a table, served coffee, and then asked for a couple of minutes so we could read the menu. We did so and chose, but no one came to take the order. In the meantime more people arrived and there were a couple more tables with two to three people on each. They got served drinks and still no one came to take our order, despite my boyfriend signalling the waiter. This is unacceptable service, especially as before any of the other tables were filled, staff were just chatting away behind the bar. After a 20 minute wait, we got up, paid for the coffee, and left. There are plenty of lovely places in Cambridge for brunch just a few steps away from Baroosh. I thoroughly recommend looking at other options. We are certainly not going there again.

A cool place! Service is great! Special thanks to Orlando and Rosie; they made me feel at home. The bar is "Top Shelf" all the way (service wise) but will find the whole range of booze. I guess the atmosphere is great, although it gets packed only in certain days, late a couple of hours before packing it in. Will definitely return. Took a bunch of pictures but will not post since I had a reaaaaally good time and the girls around the table did too, so it would not be appropriate without their consent.

Booking for an event. Tiny plates, very little food (came home having to make a dinner), waiters forgot to provide water and cups so 20 people had to queue at the bar for cups. When asked if any bread is gluten free the waiter told me pointing at some flatbread "that is not normal bread but you can still eat it". There are so many great pubs in Cambridge that I am genuinely surprised how baroosh gets by and why they have 4 star reviews.
