My husband and I have always found the Doctors to be very helpful and thorough. Sometimes it can be difficult to get an appointment but on the whole we have got one in the end and it has not been a problem. I have been going to this Practice for 28 yrs and Dr Arora has been excellent.

I came here to help a friend of mine get registered with the GP and the receptionist was the lovliest woman who deserves some sort of recognition! If all GP's had a receptionist like her, GPs wouldn't have such a poor reputation. She was encouraging, friendly, empathetic, kind, patient, probably juggling multiple queries at once, and wanted to help the people who come to her each day. I hope other people treat her well!

You can never get an appointment, even when you ring at 8am & 1pm, as requested. Sometimes up to 25 people in the queue. The online system isn’t much better - offering an appointment 2/3 weeks away. Some receptionists are helpful, but others are rude and abrupt. They have clearly let too many people register at the surgery, without appropriate resources to deal with the demand.

I am very grateful for the care myself and my baby have received at Baring road medical centre in the last year. I transferred my care from another local GP practice and it was the best decision I have made. I have always been able to get an appointment for myself or for my baby when I need it (unfortunately we have needed quite a few). All nursing and medical staff I have met have been professional and kind and I have felt that my baby and I are in safe hands when we have had an issue. Reception staff are polite and professional and you get the sense that they really care about helping you. I have never been seen late for an appointment - infact I've been seen early on a few occasions! Very grateful to the fantastic team.

It's honestly very poor. This practice is linked to a main sit in Rushey green and is an afterthought Inn every way. Whether it's seeing a nurse (which can only be done at Rushey Green) or just getting referral for things you have been promised, nothing is straight forward. Phone lines leave you waiting over an hour just to speak to rude receptionist, usually based at a completely different place. Both my daughter and I were due to be referred on for further testing. Doctor didn't follow up and therefore I have to make appointments just to ask the doctor to send the referral. It's a joke and very disappointing when you consider we all contribute to this, hundreds of pounds every month from our wages.

I am 56 years old and started my menopause at the age of fifty.. I had a colposcopy four days ago and the procedure went very well (well so I thought). It is now day five and I am having cramping pains in my stomach and bleeding. I have tried to contact the number on the handout given to me but no one picks it up and left numerous of messages. (deliberate act). It says that if I can't get to speak to someone to go to a/e????? To wait five sometimes six hours.. I will be going back to this department today and will sit there until I am seen... Their aftercare is disgraceful!!!!

I have no clue why it is so impossible to get an appointment other than if you call at 8am, and I feel the entire administration staff could do with some customer service training, their reactions are often in the realms of at least mildly suspicious when you ask them a question. I have several times been in touch with questions that don't require a Dr & have never had then resolved.

I shudder in disgust every time I have to call or go past this place. It seems their motto is to hold people on the line till they drop off the call. And if you do get to go inside they all trained pro at deflection whilst in a slow time warp. If you have come this way to complain get the uk ombudsman complaint form.
