Brentford brach staff are rude, lazy and have no idea what they are talking about. A simple transfer out was argued over for 30 minutes before they went away, spoke to manager and concluded that they cannot refuse the request. So unprofessional, no wonder kids are now selecting online banks as alternative just to avoid such customer service.

Waited for a long time in a queue. Only one cashier open, even though two other employees were stood chatting behind the counter. Having eventually reached the front of the queue I was informed that they couldn't change the address on my account (even though I had been told over the phone that I needed to come to the branch to do this). Thoroughly unimpressed with this Branch, and with Barclays in general.

I’m really upset because when I made a debit card, the card was not delivered during a month so I went back to the bank twice to confirm the card. They gave me a new card and they said that I cancelled an old your card and someone cannot use the card so I believed, However, after 2months, someone used my card , I had my card and I never didn’t lose my card but this is happened, so I cancelled all of them but I lost money and I will have to confirm again. I hope that this situation must not happen.

4/ 5

Fantastic staff, normally from the richmond branch. Unfortunately beside basic deposits and withdrawals you cant do much more at this branch so you have to go into Richmond or one of the other larger branches. It get busy all of a sudden and due to the limited number of staff you could be waiting around a while to get served. The opening and closing hours are restrictive something like 10am 2pm close but you should check that on barclays website as i wouldnt be surprised if the hours have changed recently.

Second time I have visited the Brentford branch of Barclays Bank and again, my misfortune to be served by the unpleasant, unhelpful & argumentative female cashier, Bal Matharu. Abrasive manner unfit for customer service.
