They posted cards to me twice which never showed up because Barclays had the wrong address. I wouldn't mind but I gave them the correct one each time and asked them to check. Barclays Phone banking or online were not any better, so I was forced to leave after being a loyal customer for 7 years. They had all my money in their bank and could't issue me a card.

AVOID, DON'T GO NEAR THIS BRANCH. I made an appointment to open a new account. I bring with me lots of letters from council, electricity etc. As I'm Spanish, in some of them only one of my last names is shown. I have anyway a letter from DVLA and hospital with full name on it. I also showed them my online statement from my current bank. We'll, nothing is enough and I'm instructed to print a bank statement at home and come back. So this time, to avoid another waste of time and more frustration I went to my bank and asked them to provide a statement with a stamp on it so they see it's genuine not made up. To my surprise, in my second visit AGAIN now this is not good as it does not have the format they expected, with global income and outcome... for a proof of address! They never told me on site on first visit this was not a proof of address but income! Taking into account it was my second time and I had to do such effort again to be late at work to make the appointment, I was not expecting this shame behaviour from them. I left and will not go near Barclays again. Other banks a) allow you to do everything online and b) treat you with respect and don't waste your time.
