I had a very good experience at this branch. Having failed to set up a student current account during the summer I went into this branch asking what I needed to do to get one. An appointment for a few days later and I got my student current account. If you have all the correct documents with you it is a very easy process.

Just terrible if you want to do business banking/pick up change from a business account. There’s usually only one person on and it takes ages to get to the counter. If it wasn’t the closest bank to my business I’d switch.

5/ 5

For the sake of confidentiality I won't mention any names, but I'd just like to express my gratitude towards all of the staff who work here. I was having mobile banking issues and the lengths the staff here went to to help me out was amazing! Staying after the time they had to leave their shift is not in their job description but they went out of their way to help solve a simple issue of mine. Brilliant customer service, if you are a Barclays customer I recommend you go here!

Haha as others have said - these guys just turn you away the moment you get in there. It's not understaffed, just poorly staffed. I already got pre approved for my current account and was told to go into a bank for identity verification only He said "come back in February". Opened an account with Santander in the 5 minutes while I was walking away

Can't book appointments for any face to face visit, have to just turn up and queue. Takes forever as they seem they've about 2-3 advisors on duty at any one time, dealing with absolutely everyone including the people whose appointments take huge amounts of time. Currently sat in branch having been waiting for an hour already, having initially been given an estimated wait of 8 minutes. Useless.

1/ 5

Serious problems at this branch, employees do their best to persuade you they cannot be of any assistance, prior to you actually advising them of the reason for your visit. In their defense, when they reluctantly bring themselves to look into a matter, they are totally useless, so they do get 5 stars for consistency. Very disappointing, will not have my financial accounts with Barclays again.
