The Hove branch alarm has been going off all weekend, and this isn't the first time. Yet security hasn't come once... And to think they're supposed to be looking after your money!

Poor business banking service, not open between usual business hours in my world 9am to 5pm business service fineshed at 3pm so I couldn't get change. So I had to jump on a bus and go to the Brighton branch which still operates its business service until 5pm. Barclays should give its customers consistancy whatever the branch

I have been to this Barclays very few times but not as much as the Brighton branch although it would’ve been better if they could upgrade more of the cash machines as well as adding extra staff for people who want to book appointments as well as for people who want to pay taxes and everything else that they want. They could’ve extended the place to the second floor inside of the building to make it better for more and more people to work as well as to keep their distance away from each other temporary during covid-19. I would rate this place 4 stars and 7 out of 10.

I was told it was impossible for me to deposit a cheque with a person rather than a machine because I'm not a business customer. I know this is untrue due to a previous complaint about what came across to me as intimidating behaviour by the branch manager when I was told by the complaints department it is the customer's prerogative to choose. Only after I said I'd pay it into another bank did the member of staff backtrack and acknowledge that it is possible. Why does this branch not value its personal customers?
