From the moment you walk in, you are greeted warmly and directed to whereever you need to go. The SPA is lovely, my therapist was amazing and very knowledable regarding skin concerns. Thank you so much for everything today myself and a friend enjoyed ourselves very much and will be returning soon.

I booked a spa afternoon for myself and my partner. We had 2 treatments and felt really pampered. Alison gave me a body scrub and neck, shoulder, back massage and was fabulous! I've never smelt so good or my skin been so smooth. It was so relaxing and thorough, everything was clearly communicated and was just the pick me up we needed. I will definitely be treating myself again soon!

Great gym. Pool could be a little bigger.

Since March, I, unfortunately, became redundant therefore I emailed (tried to call but no answer) several times to head office to cancel my membership. Heard nothing until Summer and to be told I still owed membership for July even though I had notified them several times I would need to cancel and gave more than the month's notice required. Yet it was apparently my fault they had no staff from march onwards to reply to me?! I ended up being back and forth with both the head office and the Wakefield branch and they decide to bring a £20 admin fee out of nowhere on top of the month fee - not stated anywhere in the contract. I challenged this and ultimately said I would pay July but they were getting no extra fees from me. I finally had it agreed I would pay the monthly fee only - I walk into the Wakefield branch to pay and then they add on the fee again stating I had taken a month longer than agreed to pay it however I spoke to a member of staff there letting them know I would be late as my car had been in the garage longer than expected and they said that was fine. Always a different excuse for charging the admin fee - it was never a consistent reason. Said they would need to take it up with head office. I get a snotty voicemail a few days later saying they will no longer charge the fee and they immediately hang up. Now I've had a letter saying Bannatynes want to take me to court over 2 weeks later since settling the payment over the apparent unpaid amount?! rang the Wakefield branch and I've still heard nothing about them clearing it. Don't even bother with them. They'll take all your money at any opportunity they get. Rubbish customer service.

Great place to pick up a verruca, other than that rather average

Booked a Spa with 55 minutes treatment and access to everything. The swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish sauna were good, nothing out of the ordinary. I believe that quite small for the number of people. Changing rooms 5/5 amazing, comfortable. The SPA treatment was really good, however, nothing out of the ordinary and the "relaxing room" had space for 5 people but could be improved... Personnel 6/5, lovely and really helpful. The treatment really good. Just lacking some further options in the "relaxing" bits. Would totally recommend!

Generally the classes are excellent and the staff are fantastic! However, the reason for only 3 stars is because the new B Fit class is far to easy and far too short. All the members are saying the same thing. PLEASE improve it. Thanks

Visited today for a spa day - generally nice facilities and welcoming staff on the front desk. Spa was very relaxing. Would recommend a visit!

Great spa, pristinely clean with hot steam room, sauna and jaccusi. Large pool and good massage services

Had a wonderful head, shoulder and back massage in the spa. Best I've ever had.
