They refused to serve my 12 year old daughter because she didn't "have an account", she took in a load of coins she had saved up, she wanted to change all her coins into a £10 note so she could proudly present it to them to open her first savings account, the cashier was rude but then the manager actually made her cry. I would recommend you go to ANY other bank and avoid this hostile environment.
No warmth, no kindness, unwillingness to help, it's a struggle to go there and be treated so badly. Such an hostile staff...I'm amazed how badly they represent the bank. You go to the gyle shopping centre branch and it's a totally different atmosphere. Every single time I go there I have a bad experience. I don't feel valued as a customer...
Very rude staff.
Staff insufferably inflexible towards customers.
Visited Branch today. Excellent friendly service from Mavis. Arrived as a customer left feeling like i was valued & had met a friend. Efficient service all completed to my satisfaction. Thank you Mavis. Tha
I have been unemployed for a year now after losing my job, having a nervous breakdown and being treated for anxiety and depression. Today I received a text saying to put funds in as I was over my overdraft limit. I managed to rustle up £9 in silver change and when I tried to deposit it, the lady with dark hair and glasses, was very short with me and refused to put the change in as it was too small for her to count when she could serve someone else. I took the bags she gave me and separated the silver, meanwhile she had no one to serve. I went to the other lady who happily took the money and lodged the funds. I spent 15 mins outside shaking before I could get my nerves together to go home. If I had another branch to go to I would.
I was helped greatly by an advisor called Scott, helpful and pleasant from start to finish. Very knowledgeable young man. Thank you for your help and patience.
Very helpful staff work in the Wester Hales Bank of Scotland
