Good bread but very expensive, 3.45 for a small loaf, 5min away one of their competitors sells french homemade loafs twice the size for 1.95... I wont go back far too expensive.

The only place in Morningside where you’ll get beautiful bread made from scratch. Try their cheese sticks and keep an eye out for the bargain bin!

I was looking for an home bakery shop and came across Andante while walking in Morningside. As soon as I walked in I was struck by the beauty of the blond lady baker, which distracted me! I took a pastry with mixed vegetable in it, which by just looking at it looked really good, then I got a slice of pizza with mushrooms and peppers on it. I only then realized that all they make is vegetarian stuff. I was really disappointed by that! I paid by contactless, and while I was distracted by the lady's beauty she didn't say how much it was and I just paid. I then checked my bank account and I was charged almost 9 pounds for just 2 veggie things that I could have made at home for 3 pounds. They didn't even taste good, the vegetables were almost raw!!

Best fresh bread in #Morningside. If you are in the area go there and buy some. Taste great fresh bakery treats as they're meant to be rather than as made in a factory. A huge plus for the local area.

Excellent bread and a nice array of cakes. Not the cheapest but the quality is very good.

Super tasty sweet chocolate pastry! Got it on Princess Street stand. The card machine was off so lady gave it to us on house which was extremely nice of! Thank you!!! Will def pop in to your shop to buy more!!

I've been a regular customer for over 3 years. Fantastic bread. Nice service. I travel about 1 mile every few days to pick up the bread. Higher end pricing yes, but I justify it in my mind with the knowledge that you are buying a high end product which lasts much longer than commercial breads. You pay for the love!

Booked a home delivery as a wee surprise for my daughter's birthday, and mentioned when ordering that an early delivery would be perfect. The delicious croissants, pains au chocolat and baguettes arrived on time for the whole family to share a very tasty breakfast before the school run! Fab service :)

Fantastic place! Needed some breakfast items for our long journey back to Wales and so glad I went here. The Danishes were absolutely delicious.
