I attended the imaging department for an X-ray of my foot. All the staff were professional, polite and friendly. The facilities were fantastic and I was seen very quickly. I would highly recommend BMI The Alexandra hospital and in particular the Imaging department.
Had my procedure at BMI Alexandra Hospital. Great service and really happy with my treatment. I appreciate the efforts of the staff, the doctors and nurses which were patient with my recovery after the treatment. Definitely would recommend.
I have seen a few specialists at this hospital over the past few years. My experience with the consultants has been great, no complaints. But to get to any of these consultants and make an appointment or cancel an appointment is a challenge to say the least. I have been calling the hospital for over a week to establish if they have a Hepatologist. I have made numerous calls, been on hold for long period of times, put through to various departs and had absolutely zero luck. Once you get this kind of a hurdle of finding the right consultant to see, the other issue is cancelling an appointment. The letter which confirms the appointment, carries only a general hospital number and no direct number for the secretary or even an email address. In the past I have called the hospital, cancelled the appointment, only to discover that the consultant was never informed. This system needs to be streamlined and made a little more efficient. The Alex is a private hospital and one pays to see the various doctors here. The hospital need to provide a better service to help retain patients.
