B G Griffiths bristol

I found BG Griffith purely by accident. I have a GL 420 with the air suspension and I went out last week and the front wheels were nearly hitting the inside of the guards. I went to the “Mercedes Benz “ specialist near me who had serviced it the week prior and without even kicking a tyre he said it was a front airbag that had gone and would cost me at least &1500 to fix. I went to BG Griffith who straight up said it wasn’t a strut. Left it with him for the day and £560 later it was the compressor and he also replaced the height sensor bars which had deteriorated over time and were like toffee. To top it off he also fitted the 2 bolts that the other “Mercedes Benz “ specialist had failed to refit back in the gearbox cover plate after servicing the car the week before. I couldn’t recommend BG more highly, even though he is on the other side of Bristol from me I will definitely be go back for any future work on my car. Thanks BG you saved my day and my bank account.

Great customer service! Called my main dealership who could only get me in at the end of the month and this garage saved me! Can’t thank them enough. So happy I have found a local garage who doesn’t charge like the main dealers but still offer great service and knowledge!!!! Will be bringing my CLA to them for services even though they don’t need the business because they were so busy! Thanks again

Very knowledgeable and skilled mechanics here. We are a used car dealership and they have helped us out of a pickle many times. Even when other mechanics have been scratching their heads with a problem, these guys have swiftly and accurately pin pointed the issue and fixed the problem and price their work very fairly.

BG Griffiths did a great job repairing my van. They diagnosed and fixed issues with the braking system as well as troubleshooting, finding and fixing an annoying banging noise with ease.. But most importantly they put right some dangerous work taken out by a previous owner / garage, where wheels had been attached to the van using the wrong size bolts (much too short) and secured with silicone(!). This had made the van extremely unsafe to drive as the wheels could have fallen off at any point. I am very thankful they spotted and fixed this potentially serious accident causing issue!.
