We could not fault the place. Once inside its like being in a country mansion rather than a hotel in after West. All of the staff were so lovely and incredibly easy to chat to and friendly. Had an amazing crushed cabernet massage. Within five minutes we were looking to book again!! Food excellent AND filling, too. Sadly I forget names but there was a 19 year old chap with an injured thumb who was a credit to all young people with a work ethic and friendly attitude to impress anyone! And everyone was doing their best to show that it was Halloween In their individual appearances too - just a joy

Surprising hotel. May not look much on the outside and the location but we were very surprised by how nice a stay we had. The room was comfortable and loved the fact there are fresh milk and water machines available, also a very nice coffee machine together with takeaway cups. We used the pool and jacuzzi which we had to book but well organised for covid-19. The bar and restaurant were really nice and tasty food.

Really poor customer service. Booked this hotel and was looking forward to a fantastic stay as outlined in other reviews. I contacted the hotel by email and was told that I couldn't book the spa until 24 hours beforehand. So the day before my stay which was for my husbands 40th birthday, I was advised upon calling that there was only availability at 6.30am on the Sunday. When I queried how it had become booked up so quickly they advised that I could have booked the spa in advance had I booked directly with them. Why not advise of this when I emailed over 2 weeks prior! I was met with a rude lady who pretty much said it was tough! Oh and to make matters worse the only availability for breakfast was at 7am also! The manager (i presume it was a manager as the girl at reception said she'd put me through to someone who would help) I spoke to was curt and not at all bothered by my situation and complaint! Fortunately we managed to book another hotel and make dinner reservations at very short notice at establishments that went out of their way to accommodate us considering the importance of the occasion. I was very saddened by the complete lack of regard shown by this particular manager at the Aztec. Very poor attitude and customer service.

Lovely hotel with lots of parking and friendly staff. An issue when checking in and out but were remedied once i queried them although they shouldnt of happened in the first place if the special instructions on the website booking had been read. Overcharged for room as we had booked a special rate online so had to rectify this. Had to change feather pillows due to allergies but this was done promptly. Magnifying mirror light in bathroom not working so was difficult to put make up on when your short sighted and it didn't get fixed before we left. We used the pool which was well organised for social distancing. Unfortunately we didnt get time to use the jacuzzi as people took more than the allocated 10 minutes. Maybe a more visible clock would help this. Shower in bathroom flooded the floor which isnt great when you have mobility issues. Breakfast was also well organised and the food was nice. We had continental and cooked as we had included breakfast in our package. The hotel asked people to wear masks in public areas but there were always people who didnt. There were lots of hand sanitizer stations around. A nice touch was that in our corridor was a machine to get cold water and another for milk.

A lovely stay at Aztec, a warm welcome from all staff, who were very attentive and friendly. Our room was great, very spacious and had everything we need. There were nice touches, such as sleep spray and even down to Bristol-themed mugs. We dined at Curious Kitchen which was a delight. Emma and Louis were excellent and nothing was too much trouble! The steak was delicious, as was the salmon starter. There was a pianist in the restaurant which was a lovely addition to our evening too. A great variety of food for breakfast, followed by a dip in the pool. We will be returning!

My boyfriend has allergies and we both have a plant based diet. The food here was excellent and the gentleman behind the bar was incredibly helpful with the allergies and couldn’t have been better in terms of customer service. Will definitely consider staying here in the future based on this brief visit. Thank you so much

Went there for a spa day with my 6year old and had tea together and did the Little Miss Nails treatment and add-on for parent. The Afternoon tea was lovely and there was something there that even my picky little one could try. We had a lovely soup which was great especially in winter times. The staff is lovely and we felt welcomed there. The only thing to be aware is that they don't have nail stations for the little ones so the nails are done on the treatment med. We didn't mind. Next time we'll try the pool.

We visited the SPA today ( 27/9/21) for a pamper day and we’re not disappointed! We were greeted by the wonderful INCA who was warm, friendly & professional and made us feel so welcome! She continued like this throughout the day despite being pretty much on her own and having to deal with everything & everyone! 10/10 service⭐️….The pool & steam rooms are great, plenty of bed to chill on & plenty of room for everyone! The complimentary tea & coffee was a great touch & lunch was absolutely delicious! We finished a fabulous day off with an amazing facial for another fantastic member of staff Jada our therapist who again was warm, friendly, professional & very informative…her facial was literally one of the best and we will definitely return to see her again! Another 10/10 staff member!! Well done⭐️

Accidentally went to that area and had a supper with a friend. We didn’t try the spa but we had a surprisingly good dinner. Reasonable price with decent quality. Good to try the seasonal menu!
