A total charlatan! Does substandard work and makes things up as he goes along. Don`t touch with a barge pool unless you want to be ripped off big style!

Worst Car Mechanic ever! We had to take our car to here due to it having a problem with the fuel injector. At first we were quoted a price of around £50.00 and therefore told them to go ahead with the work. Having took the car apart he then told us it would cost us much more than that. We therefore informed him we would take the car to our usual garage who by now could fit us in, to which the owner became annoyed and told us we would have to pay him £100 him having changed the fuel filter (even although the original problem hadn`t been resolved) before he would let us have our car back. We ended up paying him the £100, even although the garage we subsequently took our car to had to do the work he had done all over again owing to the fact that he hadn`t done it properly. A total cowboy garage where the owner becomes aggressive and threatening if you dare to question his work.

I came out of hospital earlier this year on a Sunday evening and found my car would not start, central locking etc was not working. I telephoned my breakdown service who told me someone would attend. Within a very short time Autotechniks called me, told me they'd bring a spare battery just in case, came very quickly, were able to diagnose the problem and why it had happened. Problem sorted within 10 minutes. He also explained a dashboard light that came on. Then the technician suggested I follow his van for 15 miles or so (as he was going part of the same route I was), and we'd stop and he'd check again that everything was all fine. We did this and could see car working perfectly again - and has been ever since. As it was at the height of a coronavirus outbreak and lockdown, and I was meant to be self isolating I was concerned that I might have been stranded if the car was not easy to fix. However the Autotechniks man had a perspex screen in the van, hence I would have been taken to my home miles away if needed. The gentleman made a massive difference at a difficult time. He was really thorough in diagnosing the cause, fixing it, and going out of his way to go that extra mile in providing peace of mind with one further check after the car had been back running for a bit. Thanks for great service - I would highly recommend based on my experience.
