Spent 3 days trying to fix my smart car. Diagnostic done and cost me £40 before even starting. Then the part had to be ordered in... then the garage couldn't fix my car due to them not having the blueprint of the car, then them saying they could get it at a cost to me but couldn't tell me when they would get it. Complete waste of time. Ended up taking my car back to the manufacturer where they know the car. Ended up paying more but if it means getting the job done right then I guess it's worth it.

Been using autocare centre for the last 10 years or so for mot and servicing and aways find their work to a high standard. Always notified of any costs before any work is carried out and staff are friendly and welcoming. I find their prices very competative and always feel looked after.

February 2019 Autocare fitted a door module too my car All well and good perfect However in January 2020 the car alarm was activating stating that the trigger was on the drivers door I returned it to Autocare and they tested this for me and returned a verdict it was the battery because the car wasn't being drove enough I accepted this due to lockdown £39.99 However the fault kept reoccurring I returned to autocare again they couldn't say what was at fault so an arrangement was made to change the battery if it solved the fault all well and good if not they would change the battery back and refund my money £200 sounds good one problem it didn't work and when I phoned they said they has disposed of my battery basically phone down don't want to know as a loyal customer they did all my work for both my car and my wife's At this point I took the car to another garage they inspected the door to find the wiring hadn't been secured back correctly causing a wire to wear and track to the body thus setting off the alarm Very unhappy 😞 this is a 1 star because I can't give a zero You had the car in January with me telling you the car said the drivers door was at fault you obviously didn't check this when you charged me 39.99 and said it was OK where it obviously hadn't been checked because it was plain to see when the other garage checked it I couldn't believe how shoddy the work was and you said it was the battery cos the car wasn't being used then so that answer is the biggest load of bull it was the following week i have my receipt for the battery and my phone call log as proof I don't need to lie the moral is don't use I don't need the refund thanks I'd rather have the work done correctly in the first place at the end of the day you was just trying to get out doing a warranty repair as for customer care I spent £1343 in 12 months and have now lost confidence I've asked for no renumeration so thus review is totally informative
