My case was never dealt with properly by Atkinson and Firth. They had it for 2 years and failed to keep me up to date. They did little to progress the legal matter. Just about got my money back but lost my paperwork. My appalled at the service and the number of excuses given.

Warning! Find yourself a different solicitor. A three- and half-year nightmare with this firm who was supposed to be looking after my late partner's estate. I could write a book on the catalogue of mistakes that they made, if you question any mistakes, you get a passive/aggressive response from them. Threats instead of apologies. They have even sent me another deceased person's estate details which list all the beneficiaries and how much each will receive! The solicitor is never there, always on holiday or ill, and he's totally clueless about what is going on. The number of charges for the work undertaken is disgusting especially when you have to follow-up aspects yourself because they cannot do the job. An incompetent firm who is no better than grave robbers!!
