Great place to go. I usually go for mountain biking. The trails aren’t half bad and really well maintained. Top tip - cross over the road to Leigh woods. In all the time I’ve lived in Bristol, I never knew how big it was. Great for walking and even more trails to ride.

Lovely park ,big rolling hills great walks to be had , wonderful mature trees and at the top of the hill an amazing looking mansion house. The staff I met were all friendly helpful and pleasant. And at the end of a wonderful dinner day visit there were hit air balloons taking off and gracefully drifting overhead. Often hosts events in the grounds.

Lovely place to visit but not hugely blown away by the light up Bristol event. Got round it very quickly. simple set up compared to others we have seen. Lovely scenery and not crowded. Xmas projection on the house is really good. Plenty of parking and well staffed. A few more stalls may have made it a bit more welcoming to stay a longer.

My partner and I love the whole estate, we've walked the grounds countless times and our most recent visit was to a performance held inside the mansion (see photo). The grounds are extensive with woods, open areas and wildlife contained in their own enclosures. Highly recommend a visit, you'll want to go back!
