Really slow service. Staff always chatting either among themselves or with regular customers. Cosy and inviting I’m sure but their priority should be to run an efficient service. Instead you always have to go looking for help if there’s a problem in self service and the regular check out is always slow with one till open whilst other staff could be used to speed up service.

One star is for the staff on kiosk, today somebody was paying bills using paypoint, she very clearly told the staff member how much to put on each card but got it totally wrong and kept 5 customers waiting because she [staff member] could not add up correctly, so myself and another customer walked out after queuing for 15 minutes, this is a good spacious store but you are kept waiting because it is a self checkout store, unless you want to use the kiosk

i've only recently started using this little asda and have been fairly satisfied. however, i was left less than impressed on christmas day. the young guy on the checkout [1 pm ish] was somewhat unprofessional. he was having a full-on conversation with his colleague on the next checkout, rather than paying attention to his customers. he was complaining about being on until 7 pm, rather than finishing at 2.30 pm, as his colleague was. he helped a lady with packing her shopping, however, i noted he didn't offer this with the gentleman before me, which seems rather sexist and unfair. there was no please, thank you or goodbye. good manners cost nothing, i hope the manager Mr Marsden, will read this and give some feedback to his member of staff. i will not likely use this store in future based on this bad experience. head office will also be informed.

Just been in for a sandwich on my lunch break. I got all the way back to work, opened my egg & cress and proceeded to take a bite, unfortunately the full sandwich is frozen. So either your fridge needs turning down or you need to ensure sandwiches are defrosted before you are putting them out for customers to purchase!
