Customer service is appalling and they have no desire to look after the customer as long as they have your money they are fine with that! I was refused a refund on a bottle of wine plus they refused to exchange it. I bought the wine on behalf of my daughter (who is 18 and was sat outside in the car) and because I bought the wrong bottle of wine I told my daughter to go in and exchange it. My daughter did not have any ID to change the wine so I went in and showed them my ID as it was me that purchased the wine. The guy behind the counter began to say he needs my daughters ID and refused to serve me so I proceeded in the the next queue where he told the girl not to serve me... I was puzzled at this point and asked for the manager. The manager went straight to the worker and then came to me and said they can't give me a refund or exchange it! I will NEVER EVER spend my money in this place again and this was my regular supermarket! Disgusted and disappointed!

Great for shopping: very wheelchair-friendly (except during shelving periods), with a pharmacy, hairdresser, clothing department & a wide range of stock reasonably priced. Unlike the next nearest ASDA of comparable size, they are also fairly conscientious about always having at least one accessible till open and available for use. Unfortunately, the hot food that I've tried, out of the items served in the diner area, is frankly terrible, with dry, rubbery French fries, rock-hard chicken nuggets that remind me of dwarf bread, and very poor hygiene standards in the area with the drink fountains & condiments. Staff were friendly enough, but I'm not eating there again, no matter what. Unless you have perfect teeth, you'll probably struggle.

I called today to collect my glasses from the opticians at 4:20pm on Sunday as it states on there opening times that the opticians is open until 5pm. Was told by a member of staff they were closed even though she was still behind the counter. Why have opening times when your staff obviously close whenever they feel like it. No problem taking the money for the glasses though two week previous.

Apparently, the new enforceable mask wearing rules have gone a miss at ASDA Eastlands. Although when at least a large majority of the staff are not wearing them it does rather send out the message that the management there are not bothered about enforcing the wearing of masks. I myself have health issues but still wear a mask as I believe it to be courteous and respectful to other people. This is why we end up locked down, come on ASDA at least encourage customers to wear a mask and certainly instruct your staff to wear them.

Online delivery never arrived. £70 of food, no-one called me, buzzed me. No one in security saw an Asda van outside. Driver marked it as delivered. So I didn't get a refund. 3 phone calls to customer service, lots of excuses and promises, 2 weeks later I'm still trying to get money back. Let alone compensation for the inconvenience and wasted time. Absolutely furious. Will never use their online delivery again.

We went in to the store today to buy a cake but we also wanted a photo print on iceing for it. A lady on the bakery section named Tiarna was extremely helpful and showed us how to upload the photo on the machine. She said the cake would be ready in about 10 minutes so we picked up a bit of shopping and went back 15 minutes later and the cake was ready. Excellent service from Tiarna.
