I had a click and collect slot for groceries between 3 and 4pm. I have only used Tesco for this before and assumed it would be similar. I have now been waiting for 40 minutes in store and I have no idea if anyone is actually doing anything about getting the order together. I will never use Asda again for this service, it's awful.

My review is a frustrating one. I was in store on the 20th Dec and i bought some items and went to the cigerate kiosk. A lady served me but it was very busy. She scanned my items and i asked for a scratch card as well. I paid for it all but never got given the scratch card...disappointed. I still have the receipt but dont recon I have a leg to stand on if I took it up with them....oh well.

It's the biggest supermarket in the town centre so naturally it has the largest range of items. It's still quite skewed to junk food, so some home cooking items and what you'd assume are popular vegetables are unfortunately lacking. This store also uses far too much plastic to package up the fresh items, and charges you for the privilege with a discount supermarket down the road being consistently cheaper. It also suffers terribly from popularity, with shelves often being bare, with no items where labels are. Or worse, items with no label so you have no idea how much you're spending (prepare to get stung if you need to buy one of these unidentified items). I also have a good laugh every time I see the scrum developing for the reduced bread trolley. Their offers on the whole are good, and consistent which makes planning/budgeting easy. Their reduced short expiry date sections as well can sometimes yield real bargains, especially if they can be frozen. It's well worth a browse as they often have things at a steep discount to sell off ends of lines or excess stock. As my most accessible supermarket (I do not own a personal vehicle) it is good enough for my needs. Of course, it could be better.

Went to buy a drink at the front Kiosk, line extended to a good 14-15 people, girl behind the counter called for assistance twice and no one came to assist her. She seemed to be doing her best though.

Today i needed to use the disabled Toilets in Store.I have a Stoma and therefore need Water.I usually have my Radar Key on me anyway but on this acation i forgot .I explained to one of the Check Out Girls and she told me to go to Custumer Services as they have several Radar Keys. The snotty Shop Assistant had a quick look in the Draw and then said oh we must not have one then. She just couldnt be bothered at all.I was desperate to use the disabled Toilet and she was no Help what soever. The ordenary Toilets where not an Option as they are usually dirty anyway and dont have a Sink which i need for changing my Stoma.Defenitly shoul give Staff some Training regarding this .Disgusted

I love shopping here and always have a great time looking at any new products on the shop floor. They have great offers on various items and products and always have good deals with certain items. if you go later on in evening you can get some great deals for nearly a quarter of the price, specially the breads and pastries. I find the staff very helpful and are always there to support help and assist you. I recommend this supermarket and it also has a delivery service for you to use if you need to use it.

Asda is exactly as you would expect. Easy to shop, pretty much everything you need and well....convenient if you live locally. Great taxi service right outside and good public service too wth bus stops handy. Last surviving 'giant' in the retail trade currently left in Birkenhead.
