I don't usually write reviews but my experience today was absolutely horrendous. I went in today at around 8pm after work to get my usual things on a Tuesday, however today was different. When i went to self checkout i had to wait for assistance because i had an energy drink and nobody was at the self service and to my surprise, the person who is supposed to be at the self service was on the other end of checkouts chatting away with another colleague. This is the same woman who normally serves me so i wasn't too mad about it, but she asks me for ID which she hasn't done in the past for the energy drinks so i tell her that i am over 18 as you can clearly tell from me wearing a work uniform. so i calmly tell her that i could not provide ID because i sent my passport off to get renewed but i tell her that she has accepted it multiple times in the past because i always buy the same stuff every Tuesday to which she still declined. I understand the think 25 policy because it is used in my work too but that's not what annoyed me, what annoyed me is the fact that she has accepted the same purchase in the past (to which i have provided ID in the past) and the fact i had to wait 5 minutes just doing nothing while she chats away somewhere else is just terrible and a complete waste of my time. Honestly one of the worst experiences i have had and it made my day so much worse
