I sold my car to Arnold Clark last week. I got an online valuation a few days before but was fully expecting this to be hammered down once at the garage. Upon inspection, a few scratches were noted on the alloys so roughly £200 was deducted from the offer. However, Arnold Clark offered the best price I was quoted and I still felt it was a fair offer overall. The process was very quick - all done in 30 minutes - and very hassle-free, which was exactly what I needed. Emilie was friendly and easy to deal with. As promised, the money landed in my account 3 working days later. I am very happy I chose to sell to Arnold Clark.

Looking for a particular make and model, I found it here on their website, 3 weeks ago now. Nearly 100 miles away I was a little worried at distance buying. I spoke to a lovely gentleman, Joe Emerson. He took a lot of time explaining everything, absolutely no rush, he was totally reassuring, and after emailing me a (totally acceptable) part exchange value for my vehicle etc and click and collect option at Manchester Motorstore, I paid my deposit. 6 days later I drove to Manchester, I did a test drive and went ahead with part exchange purchase. Again I dealt with another Arnold Clark employee who was very professional. Issue I did have to raise was quickly dealt with by Joe, (via Manchester branch) to my total satisfaction. Should I have any future problems with the car, (non that I envisage) Joe has assured me not to hesitate in contacting him. My thanks to Joe Emerson for his patience and total customer care.

We have been looking for a new family car for a while and I had my heart set on a SUV. On a Sunday afternoon we went into Arnold Clark in Leeds and we were greeted by Thomas Passmore and his colleague Darren. We explained what we were interested in and sat down with Thomas to crunch some figures. We decided to go away and have a think, then we received a message with a video showing us round the car we loved. It wasn't cheesy or over selling it was honest, detailed and to the point. This made us talk so we decided to book a test drive the following day, we then signed for the car and drove it away on the Wednesday. Thomas was fabulous, after finding out he had only been working there for 2 weeks we were even more impressed, he is professional without being robotic, listens and takes his time to explain everything. We love our new jeep compass and if it wasn't for Thomas we would never have bought it. He needs highlighting and rewarding for his customer service. My brother is now looking at a new SUV and we will definitely be taking him down to Arnold Clark to meet with Thomas. He is a real asset to this company.

Sold my BMW to Arnold Clark Leeds and couldn't be happier. Emilie was fantastic; friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole process quick and easy. I'd been a little pessimistic when declaring the condition of the car on the online system and they significantly adjusted the offer upward after examining it which was an added bonus! Took my Alfa Giulia for its first service. They lost my original booking so had to rearrange for another day. For the courtesy car, they provided an old Abarth 500, completely unsuitable for my business requirements. Subsequently I had to reschedule my plans that day. Worse was to come. They never did a proper service because they couldn’t find the wheel locking nut (it was in the boot). They never filled in my service book and when I picked up the car at the end of the day, no one provided a handover and the change oil light was still illuminated in the car. I have no idea if they even bothered to change the oil. Alfa Romeo really should not affiliate themselves with such a shoddy operation, it really damages their brand. They’re meant to be competing with BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar but it makes them look like a tin pot outfit with this Arnold Clark branch

Smoothest and most professional service check in ever. Staff are friendly efficient and caring. Showroom immaculately clean and in well organised.

Never buy a car from there,service so bad, the sell team stuff were so nice , I have to pay 2 years warranty and service for them when I bought a car from them, but when your car had any problems they always said we're fulling book at the moment and need few weeks to week, if you can't wait you can go the any local garrage..... I really don't understand if I have to go to any garrage why I have to pay 2 years warranty and service?seriously unhappy for this not responsible service......

First service of my Panda 4x4 twin-air yesterday. The booking process and delivery of the service itself was spot on. I was kept informed and the work was done promptly, with break pads replaced and my service book stamped-up and left open on the passenger seat so that I could see it was done - great. This is the first time I have used this garage and certainly a good start!

Took my car in for a recall. Easy and straight forward. They cleaned it too.
