I highly recommend Des. He went above and beyond to get us the car with the spec and the price we wanted! Also Paul for getting the figures where we needed them! I have bought a few cars from them and i will definitely buy the next one from them too! Extremely happy with everything!

This was a good experience. Not just one of those " Oh I bought s new car and it was absolutely great", airhead stories. We were helped by the salesman, not herded towards a particular vehicle. He was keen to explain about everything but at the same time was not pushy or insisting that this was the best deal ever. He even explained about other options that were available. Having chosen a vehicle and stranded for any minor blemishes to be fixed we were given a date for pickup. Checking on the internet again we went back to day that we had seen another and that we wanted to change our minds. Same price similar make and model. Patrick was very accommodating helpful and didn't make us feel stupid. In a very short time we viewed and changed the vehicle and arranged to pick up the vehicle on the same date. This was an easy pleasant transaction and the staff were very helpful and understanding. The free teas and coffees from the machine, and the biscuits were a comfort bonus. The children played in a kids area which made for s very quiet transaction. I could not fault the staff, the premises were very easy to find and laid out well for viewing all of the vehicles..

I bought a car 5 weeks ago with warranty and the assurance of being picked up/ dropped off/ curtesy car available if anything were to go wrong with my purchased car. The engine light came on on Monday. I called the branch on Tuesday morning. They said I could be booked in for the following day (which I believed to be fantastic service thus far). After asking, the service department informed me that they do provide the service of dropping people off/ picking them up/ providing a courtesy car IF you booked it 3 weeks in advance. I asked the obvious question of how can someone know their car’s engine light will come one 3 weeks before? After a couple of conversations they told me if a driver was leaving the branch at the same time he could drop me at a train station (3 mins drive from the branch). I decided to let it go and travel 1.5 hours via public transport to return home which would have been a 20 minute drive. I was called the following morning and was told they needed to order a part to fix my car and I wouldn’t be able to collect it until Friday. I said that was fine and asked if I could collect it around 3:30/4pm on Friday. They assured me that this time would be fine as the car would be worked on as soon as the part arrived. I arranged a lift to get to the branch from work. Just before we left I called the branch (as I hadn’t heard anything) to double check 4pm was still suitable. I was then told the car would not be ready until Tuesday next week! I asked what I was supposed to do without the car I had bought from them a mere 5 weeks ago. My question was met with a “not my problem” attitude. I requested to speak to the manager. I was put on hold 3 times and then told the manager will return my call shortly. The manager did not return my call and it is hours after closing. They did not give me the time to contact me and therefore I am not going to chase hen up and have turned straight to sharing my experience thus far. I am outraged by this experience however will update this post if I am treated differently - but I shall not hold my breath. All I can say is Arnold Clark Hillington branch treat you incredibly well UNTIL you have bought the car. It’s all downhill from there.

Came here to buy a car, it was so easy, no pushy salesmen. Lovely guy called Michael sold us our car. Happy with the price and overall experience. Manager took personal interest to make sure we were happy James (I think really tall young boy) who took us for the test drive was great and Sam who set the car up was knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely come here again.

Brother was picking up van... sales guy dealing with him was helpful... rest of staff acted like salesmen from a chewing the fat sketch .. all that was missing was buckfast
