Cosy and nicely designed, furnished with antiques. Average prices if compared to other barbers in Oxford, less price on kids and on family. Barbers are very polite and efficient but could not do the haircut I desired despite visiting several times. Also, if my barber is not around I will be restarting from scratch despite the good handover from one to another. Hence, try and phone asking about your barber before you go. They have an excellent barber who is the original shop keeper. Also, they are friendly and sometimes flexible with prices once you get to know them. To be honest, compared to expensive barbers i don't see any difference.

I have increased my rating of this barbers. As the staff have definitely upped their game. They are friendly and give one the best gents cuts in Oxford. To top it off their prices don't break the bank either.

Got my beard trimmed there, and while it looked good, it was not the shape I wanted. Everything else was excellent. Edit: The owner has since reached out to me and apologised for my experience. Not every business would have taken the time to do that and I really appreciate it.

These barbers used to be very good, and would always provide quality hair cuts. However the last 3 visits I have come away with extremely rushed, and uneven cuts. This last time was the worst, to name some of the issues: very rushed, barber did not seem to care, was quick with the trimmer and near enough pulled my hair out, did not ask if I wanted the back squared or tapered and instead without asking went with rounded (??), pulled my shirt down to shave my back hair (???), and the overall hair cut was extremely uneven. I asked for a short back and sides, with a trim on top, and I ended up looking a little like a lopsided pineapple with how far he took the "sides." It's a shame as they used to be very convenient and high quality, but based on recent experiences I can't recommend.
