A fascinating used book store that I was glad to visit while I had time in Edinburgh. While the layout of the store may not be the most user friendly (be sure not to knock over the stacked books), you will definitely find some interesting/rare finds (as I did).

Amazing place that any book lover should see at least once. It's a pleasure to walk between the bookshelves full of old books and find small treasures from one or two centuries ago.

Highly recommended. I placed an order online. Communication and service were exceptional. The book arrived even earlier than expected. The item was a 241 year old book. It was exactly as advertised and in beautiful condition. To be honest, it felt like it was delivered with a warm hug. Next time we're in Edinburgh, we are definitely visiting the bookshop in person. What I can say thus far is that the online service was absolutely excellent - up there with the best we've encountered. Thank you guys - we will treasure this book forever. We look forward to buying more from you. Diane

This family-run bookstore is a little gem in the West Port area. They have a large collection of second-hand books, some of them are even several decades old, so you can find some pretty great finds if you are into antique books. If you are a booklover and you enjoy atmosphere of the bookstore as much as you enjoy books themselves, I highly recommend visiting this place, as walking around their narrow corridors being surrounded by hundreds of books is just very magical.

Really enjoyed this small independent second hand and antique bookshop. Had to queue for entry as they monitor the numbers inside. I'm sure there is something for everyone... There's such a variety!

Due to unseen disabilities and a medical condition, a friend was asked to leave the store for not wearing a facemask. When the staff was told of the situation, they did not care and proceeded to ask them to leave. Due to this experience, I would not recommend this store as others along the street are far more accommodating and understanding in comparison. As for a further review into books offered, I cannot say much as the time inside was less than a few minutes.
