I go to this school. It is strict with the uniform, behaviour and such but the teachers (at least that I have) are really fun. Some teachers can get annoying. Whilst we do have to walk in s line into eh morning, break, lunch and after school. We do get supplies mostly for some subjects whilst other subjects have their normal teachers. The library is also really nice and the librarians are funny. I am not the the student who is the classic goody in two shoes but I still follow the behaviour rules. I know many students out of school can be extremely rude and all but that is not the school's fault. Also another one I saw is about teachers turning an eye on people who drink, smoke or such. This is not true at all, I seen teachers deal with the people. I recommend this school to students who don't have a problem with following simple rules (No talking, eating, using phones and such). If you have any problem with a school that doesn't let you get away with chewing gum, talking, distracting others, then you shouldn't come to this school. I do like this school somewhat, the only big reasons are the uniform standards and planner.

Ark academy has ruined what was once a great school. Children are being made to march around the school and salute the teachers. Some children have been having trouble getting there lunches, due to the canteen always being packed. However since the switch the school definitely has been better at responding to emails.

For those who don't actually go to the school, it's really not...THAT bad, seeing only the bad students' behaviour outside of school really doesn't reflect the school at all, it's just the same groups of people who can't conduct themselves properly. The teachers aren't bad, most of them are great and some teachers go the extra mile to make sure students get the learning they need. Last year, Year 10's Chemistry teacher stopped coming in, we don't know if she left or was fired, but this was in like the first 3 weeks. We had supply for months and our Biology teacher would also be absent sometimes, but the Head of Science took in our Chemistry class and has been teaching us even until now, swapping out some of his Chemistry lessons every 2 weeks for Biology until we catch up, and having a PE lesson every 2 weeks swapped out too, with morning interventions on a Friday. He is a great example of the best teachers of Acton.

Rubbish school, had the pleasure of leaving it years ago. Teachers are immature to another level and don't know how to teach and the social life has become built on being popular. Absolute garbage of a school

This school seems like a typical high school but it is unfortunately not, I will now expose the errors in the school. A main factor in the decline of good gcse rates in acton high school is the fact that most teachers do not bother coming in to teach their lessons and most of my classes are filled with supply teachers that the school hired from Nisa Local and Spar. I once saw a cashier working a Morrisons, she was a nice woman but what confused me was that 2 weeks later she was working in acton as an A level science teacher. This school is a shambles and people laugh at me when I say i go to this school. But what really irritates me is the fact that I am supposed to be doing Computing for GCSE but the computers hardly work and are struggling on a illegal copy of windows 10. Embarrasing to say the least, but when you thought I was finished ridiculing this poor excuse of a school, trust me this is only one horrific example out of many. There is only one teacher who is respected and very much qualified and this Mr Merton. ML Paul

This school is a bad school, i know this because i know some people who went there and they were fine before they left but once they started fitting in they turned out to be so horrible to them, Strongly recommend for those who want there child to get education and make friends , this school isn't the place for them. The students have no respect whatsoever and they have a terrible attitude towards others. Ive walked past that school and have seen students smoking, and on my way to school they have even been bringing alcohol and stashing it in their bags.
