In theory, a nice and easy way to get Argos goods if you can't have them delivered to your house: pick them up with your weekly shopping. In practice: you're likely to stand around for some time waiting for your order to come out from the back... by which point you might as well have driven to Argos! Still useful if you're within walking distance, I suppose.

This Argos is a JOKE,they never have what you want in stock so you have to order it in and the staff have the personality of a dead cow.....not happy at all

Great customer service received recently. I had a problem collecting an item and I needed my argos card. The lady who served me was very professional and ensured I knew what I needed to do. Thanks (collected Ring doorbell and 2 x inflatable sofa)

Matt the Manager and the Assistant Josh were not helpful at all. Every staff members have their own rules depends on the mood they are in. Previously a very helpful lady asked me to download my statement and get her the four digits and gave me my item. However this time the rules were different, Matt the manager who looked absolute mess decided not to apply that rule. I mean don't you guys as a team follow the same rules? MATT needs to train himself and then train his team. Really, honestly waste of time. Poor service!!

I have dealt at this branch several times with no problems. The staff have always been willing but, perhaps, not so well informed, but that was how Botley Road was. Availability is always a challenge. It's an Instore Shop which means storage is going to be a challenge. Anyone who complains about this Argos branch are expecting a silk purse from a sow's ear. The customer is NOT always right. Know what you want, order it, pay for it, get a collection time and date and go and collect. With the pandemic that we are all suffering have a bit, A LARGE BIT, of tolerance. Are you really such an important customer? Once or twice a year spending £20.00 to £30.00 each time or in total? It's a good outlet that needs your support and bad comments could leave most of the customers without a store to go to.
