If you’re thinking of a great place to hold a hunger strike, look no further than the Argenton. The chances of you getting food here are fairly slim, they’ll keep you honest to your cause. But, this isn’t the usual case at the Argie. And for that I’ll give them benefit of the doubt. To be honest, I’m bored and only writing this while I wait for my food.

Great location for families and groups. My only suggestion to staff and guests is to take care when booking and confirm everything. Very disappointed to have a booking placed on the wrong day and have to squeeze onto the only table available for a birthday celebration. Could also do will a little extra staff in the busier times to keep tables cleared. Aside from that the facility itself is great, the renos look fantastic and the kids play area is second to none

A great family venue, with excellent outdoor play equipment for the children, and plenty of seating around it so you can let them play without hovering over them. The venue is large, modern, and well presented. Staff are attentive and helpful, and the meals were excellent. A good range of options on the menu, slightly costly, however well worth it. Overall en excellent venue, one of the best family restaurants in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, and we'll be back again.

As a family we love argie pub.. Obviously with the kids the play equipment is a big hit but I love how quick the service is on bringing out the kids meals it's fantastic and especially when little kids get so hungry.. We have always had great meals here

The renovations have made this place a wonderful spot for family's and large groups.

Atmosphere was fabulous however for our evening dinner the food was poor, except cheese garlic bread was amazing. the Mussels were of very poor quality 6 of them had NO Mussels in the shell and wasn't even in the very salty sauce and for the price it was definitely not worth it.. Salt and pepper squid was good but salad was just lettuce and dressing. However been there for lunch and it was good then, that's why we decided to have dinner there.

Excellent service, the staff were very friendly and food was beautiful. Well done to yous all.

Nice atmosphere ,friendly staff,only one gripe ..ordered the ham and pineapple pizza the ham was paper thin and cut into tiny pieces smaller than a thumbnail,the pineapple was nice but not much of it and the base was good.

Love the new club. Pleasant staff and overall great place to get out of the house.
