Didn't go inside or stayed but just went to see the place. Outside scenery is awesome and there is a farm right next to it down the hill with a couple of highland cows which are very friendly and came right up to us close to the fence. Took nice pictures of the cows and places around. There are legends of the Ardoe house top floor being haunted which makes it even more intriguing place to visit.

A fantastic hotel, built around the old building, the new extension is to the rear and almost invisible from the front aspect. Swimming pool and sauna very nice. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Food in the restaurant is targeted as "fine dining" but not overpriced, a really nice experience. The sheff is marvellous.

Lovely hotel recently reopened. Food was wonderful. Nice rooms but some little touches missing like gowns, biscuits and water not replenished. Special mention for Paul who was waiter for dinner lunch and breakfast and bar man with a smile - give that man a pay rise! Will be back.

Despite just re-opening and working with a skeleton staff, we had a lovely stay! The food was really excellent, the few members of staff working were more than willing to help despite covering many different jobs and we never felt that service was slow or that we were rushed. Looking forward to seeing the hotel running at full strength and what the future holds for it - we will most definately be back!

Lovely hotel with excellant food on the dinner menu and nicely presented too. In the morning the cooked breakfast had a large variety but not of the same standard as dinner as rarely was hot enough. Nice large pool too but water was a bit on the cool side! Would definitely return at a later date.
