We were made so welcome by Jeremy the assistant manager who came out and greeted us from our car and proceeded to carry our bags upstairs. All staff were so very friendly and the breakfast was superb. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

A superb experience staying here. This old house built 1830 is exceptionally well maintained and kept clean. The plumbing works as any new build, which was a present surprise. The place is quaint and fill of character. More than this, the service is far superior than what you would expect from any modern chain hotel, we were well looked after from the moment if arrival to leaving. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. This is a perfect retreat for a stay in Bath. It is slightly out of the centre but has a pleasant walk in, and is very quiet for a good night sleep. Highly recommended and I will use this hotel again.

Gorgeous!!! and I cannot say how kind and thoughtful the Apsley staff are! I stayed in a suite which had 2 rooms and a very large bathroom to accommodate 3 adults. We were not stepping over each other and privacy wasnt a problem. I will visit again when I am traveling the country again.
