I phoned the Belfast store number, and got speaking to a man called Brian. I asked do the have a particular I Phone in stock, he checked and confirmed they did. I asked the price and was happy. I asked do i need to make an appointment with the store to purchase, he said no you can just walk in. I said i am going to come up now to which he said no problem. I left work early, and had a round trip of over an hour, and had to pay for car parking once i arrived there which was fine. I went in the store and there was multiple employees standing talking to each other, i went to a lady and asked could she help me, to which she asked had i an appointment. I said i don't i was on the phone about an hour ago with a man named Brian who told me to just come in. The lady said that was somewhere else an online team, i said i rang the Belfast number she said we only operate on appointments only. I explained i had got out of work early travelled a distance have paid for parking, and she said we have no appointments left today, tomorrow is the earliest. I asked could they do nothing to help me, she said no. I said just want to buy a phone i know what i want, and i don't need to speak to anybody, or take anybodies time up, she said no. I then asked to speak with a manager as i was not happy and she said there all busy, i said can i speak to somebody in charge and again she said they were all busy. She said if you want to come back about 5.15pm somebody may be able to see you then, which was 2.5 hours later, i said i can't just hang around for 2.5hrs and somebody might be able to see me. This lady or any number of the employees that were standing talking to each other could of easy have served me, but instead they didn't. Very disappointed with the service provided and wrong information given to me, needless to say i won't be going back to the store today.
