1/ 5

We provide nail and lash courses for people wanting to better themselves and often receive students from various charities that help people take a step up in life. The University decided, after one year of using their training rooms, they no longer liked the smell of acrylics - we understand this can happen although it was the way in which it was conducted. The snobbery was astonishing as one individual dramatically entered our training room during a course and brought it to a halt claiming absolute falsehoods. We paid them thousands in course fees over the 12 months and were treated like dirt in a moment. A university standing in the way of individuals looking for a new beginning and acting with such snobbery is a dreadful indictment of modern academic institutes.

2/ 5

The worst application process I have ever experienced. Was told one thing about a course to only later be told that that information was not correct which completely messed up my academic plans. I could have forgiven this, because they were very apologetic, but the process went even more downhill from there. I sent in a professional reference from a previous supervisor of mine mid December. It was the last part of my application that was missing. I did not hear back from a "senior" admissions officer until the FRIDAY BEFORE my course was supposed to start. Nearly a whole month later. It was at this time that they decided to tell me that it would not be accepted and that my ex-supervisor would have to send the reference letter from her professional email, which she did. Come the first day of the course, I had still not heard back from them. I had to send an email stating my dissatisfaction and only then did I hear back, this was on the second day of my course. Apparently, they needed to confirm when exactly my supervisor worked at the company. At this point, I was tired of being given the run around and withdrew my application. All in all, it seemed a little ridiculous considering this is definitely not a top university; their application process is unnecessarily pedantic and disorganised. I did not have a good experience with the GI bill area of the school, either. I sent an email enquiring about using my husbands GI bill and heard no response for at least a month. I would not have trusted them to contact the Veterans Association in the USA had I gone through with a degree with them.

Don't study here. Staff don't want to work here, students aren't coming through the door. ARU is desperate for students because of the terrible quality of course and money driven culture of recent years. Please study elsewhere or you'll be bitterly disappointed. Used to be great now not so much - avoid.

Had the most horrific study experience. Left me burnt out, angry and skint. I am only finishing so that it wasn't all for nothing! But I can't wait to finally be finished and never having to go back. It's been a struggle and fight all along! It is basically impossible to reach anyone in the finance department so if anything goes wrong with your fees you are powerless. They kept on changing and deleting available modules, I had already chosen, last minute, so that I had to prolong my studies for a whole year to be able take my chosen modules. It was IMPOSSIBLE to plan your studies. Due to last minute venue changes, for a course thought in France, and not being able to pay for accommodation twice I was first enrolled into a different module WITHOUT being asked ( it will for ever be on my record) and then forced intermitted. All because I couldn't pay for accommodation twice! Tutors and staff DO NOT reply! You are basically studying a distant learning course on your own. After my own experiences with not replying staff and stories from other students feeling left alone during their thesis I decidet do drop out after my PGrad Diploma and Not write my thesis. Staff is mostly bad-mooded in all areas! Feels more like a money making machine than anything else. To top it all off my program was just as expensive as any at Edinburgh University, which is one of the most expensive in the UK! So: expensive, no value for money, rude and non-accessible tutors, supervisors and staff! Overall devastating experience!

More or less it’s a Mickey Mouse university, most of the students there speak basic English. Enrolled there with the help of agencies, that took percentage of their student loan and grants from the government. Some Facebook pages promote student loans for this uni, and assure people they don’t need to give the credit back. Actually they don’t call it credit, they say its government help for students. Widely advertised in Bulgarian Facebook pages.

The Admission process is worst and their management is rude. They will give you conditional offer Letter and after the initial deposit they won't even respond you. I feel that they are doing partiality with North Indians and the question which were asked in the interview was personal and not related to the course. They won't give you second chance and simply cancel your offer Letter. We have deposited full fess of the course (MSC Nursing Clinical) and they took almost 4 months to refund our fees. I really want serious action against the fraud agents

They don't deserve even a single star, poor management and controlled by some foolish agents. No Transparency in the admission process and they are pathetic and arrogant too. They will just fail you in the pre CAS interview without any reason. Refund process is pretty slow, so please don't opt this university. We lost our intake because of them.

Seriously very bad university. Don't deserve even a single star. They just wasted my time. They will definately going to accept your offer and then they will gone take your pre cas interview with some rude person who is going to reject u without any solid reason. Even if u feel that your interview was excellent. Same thing happened with me. I really regret on applying and wasted my precious time on this Ridiculous university. They wasted my both September and january intake due to their late refund process. Even I chased my self for long time and today they refund my complete fee after 3month. Due to this university I missed my January intake for Aberdeen university. I will never recommed this university to any one. Their agents in India are very rude, fraud and unprofessional they will gone ask you personal questions during interview. It seems that they will search for some weak point to reject you even if they don't find any, they will gone reject you by saying that u are not ready to come here. Guys don't go with this university.

Awful experience with trying to sort out graduation. My e-vision account was removed so I cant log in to site to print tickets. When contacting support I get auto directed to line which says "leave your message after tone and we will contact you shortly". Been trying for over month no response. Also tried their "alternative" send email to support but same waiting weeks with no answers. As soon as I manage to get through to a human I get transferred over to automated system before I can finish my sentence and the cycle repeats. £9k a year and cant even get in touch with anyone for weeks.
