Spoke to Kaiser to put an offer forward explaining how much I liked the property. I asked him what the holding deposit was and he told me 3 weeks rent. When I questioned it as I thought it could only come to 1 week now (after the fee ban) he said he didn't know because he doesn't have time to look as he had a lot of paperwork on his desk. What about going on some training perhaps? I had to chase him up because he did not bother to let me know what was happening with the status of the offer, to which I was then informed that the property was let to someone else. When I asked why, he said that it's easier to let to a company than to me and he said the process had already actually started BEFORE I put the offer forward so i was never going to get it anyway because they had taken the holding money!!! Understandably I was upset and asked to please speak to someone about it and he laughed and then asked why i was trying to fish for an argument and started telling me there was no management anywhere in for a week so I can’t speak to anyone! I have never experienced an individual who is supposed to be a professional as discourteous and rude. Not only this, but according to 3 other agents who i have explained this to, the new tenant fee ban lays out that if money has been taken on a property, they must remove it online and then can only take a MAXIMUM of 1 WEEK deposit.... Obviously Andrews do not follow rules and do not care for people’s feelings either.
