I needed a car for a week's holiday in the East Coast of USA. Having done a web search of companies offering the service, America Car Rental came up on top for value. After completing a well laid-out, user-friendly web application form, I was sent an immediate email with details of the rental request. This included Customer Service telephone number and email address. The car voucher was then sent almost immediately but I missed it in my inbox, so I called Customer Services and was immediately sent another copy of the voucher without any fuss. The rental was with one of the main International car hire companies and I was able to collect the car from the main rental office at JFK. To my delight, I was upgraded to a large four door saloon car, which was much more comfortable than the economy 2-door model I had rented. When I emailed Customer Services during the week with a query about possible change of date for the return of the car, I received an immediate email response pointing me to the right contact to direct my query. All in all, the best budget rental experience I have had in over 30 years of travel. Highly recommended.
