Booked this hotel at the relative last minute for a 2 night stay over New Year's as I was needing a bed to crash in while visiting friends nearby. Considering the time of year and how late I booked the price was excellent and the room I was in was lovely. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning here whenever I need a place to crash again ... highly recommend!

We booked this Hotel for a friend and she loved the place. Said the breakfast offered was fantastic. Perfectly situated to get to the city centre and to the subway. Looks onto the kelvin walkway and botanic gardens. We'll worth staying here and a good price.

The Ambassador Hotel was fantastic. I stayed here during the COP26 climate summit, and their rates were entirely reasonable, especially compared to other hotels nearby and in central Glasgow. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The double room was clean and plenty of space. The hotel is located near the botanical gardens and there are plenty of restaurants and night life spots within easy walking distance. The hotel is also about a 30 min walk south to central Glasgow, so great location. Would stay here again without thinking twice.

We booked the Ambassador to go to an event in Oran Mor and I'm SO glad we found it! The location was perfect, the room was small but perfectly comfortable, and the person at the reception/manager was friendly and really helpful. There were tiny things like the water pressure was quite low, the floors were a bit wonky, and you could smell the breakfast in the morning, but that's all to be expected for an old building! Also for the price we paid it was VERY VERY good value. We'll definitely be back.

Really good location in Glasgow. 5 min walk to subway or almost 0 travel time to the west end pubs and restaurants. No official parking so be prepared to search the streets for a spot. The staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Couldn’t really ask for more. The room was clean, bright and modern. Plenty of tea and coffee provided. Decent shower. Plug sockets also had USBs. Comfortable bed. Again, couldn’t really ask for more. Really nice breakfast in the morning too. Easy check in/out.

Second time staying and great experience. Absolutely fantastic for the price. Clean comfy room and bed - bits and pieces of aging etc. but nothing that would put anybody off a perfect score for a 3-star hotel. Staff helpful and pleasant
