Me and the girls from our Golf & Country Club, decided to enjoy a city break & spa. Having researched extensively we choose upon Ambassador Bristol, ready for pure relaxation and luxury after a long lockdown. Led by Gill, our golf lady captain, we headed down. We loved the close proximity to many of the cities attractions such as the harbour-side cultural quarter and we all love Cafe Rouge so were looking forward to that, of which there is as well many other options. Truth be told, we hardly left Ambassador, we were welcomed by Sissy' serving a calming iced chamomile tea, well needed after the journey from South Gloucestershire, and the deluxe options never stopped from there. We had muslin cloth facials, hot stone massarges and manicures with Angel & Hannah. The decor is very slyish, simple but luxurious, from the off the parlour was blessed with sage and joe malone scented candles create a lovely relaxing aroma. A Turkish bath is available which some of us delighted in, Judith & Penny (in our group) don't like steam so opted for slightly cooler Jasmine Aromatic Baths. Spent the whole say immersed in loveliness . As we relaxed on the gorgeous tuscan cottage themed veranda in our lovely Egyptian cotton white company dressing gowns, which you can keep for a fee (negotiated by christine always after a bargainl!) we were enjoying their ambassdors club sandwich and a glass of bubbles. Afternoon tea is an option, looked so delightful, you must book ahead - its rightly very popular. We all commented how lovely our skin was and how we glowed. Well needed luxury and we parted with the lovely team rested and relaxed with a gorgeous L'Occittine amenity set. Bliss, couldn't recommend enough

Ghastly experience. They claim to be welcoming. Actually my experience with the joyless Jasmine was quite the opposite. She was only interested in how much money she could get and getting me out of the door as soon as possible. No need - I left. A complete lack of professionalism and charisma! AVOID

Not impressed, waste of money. I Will give them benefit of the doubt and visit once more with a different hostess. If she's as boring, evasive and hands off as the first one then I will never go again. Stay tuned
