Home to the University of Sheffield's Biomedical Sciences department, Alfred Denny building is attached to Firth Court and the Florey building. It contains the two largest biology lecture theatres as well as the Perak teaching laboratories. At the entrance near the Arts Tower is the Alfred Denny Museum of Zoology, containing exhibitions on natural history and biodiversity, part of the department since 1905. The Alfred Denny Museum is open on the first Saturday of each month for guided tours at 10am, 11am and 12pm.
